UPT teams qualified for Innovation Labs 2021: Timișoara Hackathon

Several teams of students from UPT and, for the first time, a team of teachers and researchers passed the Innovation Labs 2021 Timișoara Hackathon with flying colors and qualified in the pre-acceleration business program that lasts until autumn.
The first stage of Innovation Labs 2021 Timisoara Hackathon took place from March 6-7, Polytechnic University of Timisoara being an academic partner in this project since its inception.
The UPT teams that qualified in the business pre-acceleration program are:
- AIMinded - artificial intelligence for early screening in lung cancer prevention: Vesa Alex, Fabian Jichi, Camelia Burlacu (UPT AC), Anda Trandafir (UMFT)
- Multiplayer Puzzle Game - mobile application for puzzle game with several competitors: Nemeth Edgar, Schipala Ianko (UPT AC)
- ParkItNow - efficient parking, digitally managed, by blocking other cars: Ewald Dobre, Raul Brumar, Mihai Grosu (UPT AC)
- Electroconductive smart ink - development of electrically conductive inks based on nanowires decorated with self-welding metal nanoparticles: Conf.dr.ing. Andrea Kellenberger (UPT CHIM), Dr. Radu Banica, Dr. Petrica Linul (INCEMC)
InnovationLabs is a national program that aims to support students in developing business projects that have a technology component.
